This sounds suspiciously like the dreaded fruit cake but I'll let you be the judge.

For the ones of us that are greedy and don't want to share.

If you add the raisins to this, just keep walking by my house...

Apparently this is a party size cake.

Exclude the raisins if you want a friend in me...

There are two types of people in this world...the people who hate raisins and the people who are wrong.

I'm posting this just for posterity sake.

I will never officially endorse a recipe that contains raisins...ever.

I vividly remember making these as a kid.

It really is a super neat little experiment.

Make sure to be safe when doing this...gloves, goggles...you know the drill.

Mrs. Beck had some unique recipes like my granny did.

Dinner was always an adventure when those two were in the kitchen.

Mrs. Beck's husband Foxy (his nickname), was a Korean war veteran.

I spend so many evenings going through boxes of photo slides he had of anything from the war to an Indian reservation they once lived on.
