I think these would be rather tasty in the fall.
The whole family decided to get in on the action for this recipe.
The kiddos are almost as awkward as I am mixing things.
When in doubt though, we all turn to the expert to keep things in between the lines.
The recipe calls for a "teaspoon" scoop but we went with a cookie scooper. We both thought that the teaspoon reference was an older term our grandmother's used when talking about a regular spoon.
We played around with the time since that was left up to the imagination. We also decided that 300 degrees was probably a better heat. It took about 20 minutes at that temp to get the job done.
BOOYAH!!! Super tasty goodness!
The recipe we used made a little over 2 dozen cookies.
Good Lord...these are beastly good. Chewy, crunchy, loveliness.
Mods:
We used sweetened coconut because that was the only kind we could find.
Time and temp was not given so we ended up at 300 degrees for around 20 minutes.
Final Thoughts:
Pretty easy to make.
Be prepared to eat a lot of these.
Definitely for fans of Samoa cookies.
A solid 4 thumbs up.
We're definitely going to make these again and will update the recipe if we end up tweaking anything else.
